Sorry to hear that. Hope everything is ok guys. As per your other post I see it's just you
going....so Magabicool you are definitely not going to avoid/miss out on the Fest and the
nosh afterwards.  I'll drag you if you don't come of your own free will....LOL

I've seen this and I am sorry to hear that you can't make it. There is always the Ace meet in October and I am sure we will make arrangements for other meets soon.

I have said to the pub that there will be between 16 and 20 people so this isn't a problem.

Even though LadyV asked people to definitely confirm they were coming; as she
had to give the numbers to the Pub catering for us; we had 4 (in total) 'no shows' with
no apologies, or explanation !

I won't name names; even though others may not agree; as I think we may have to
give them the benefit of the doubt as perhaps circumstances dictated that they could
not attend the Smart Festival at all.
 
Regretably the shortfall in numbers had repercusions on those that did attend, as the
the numbers 'booked' to be catered for were not met, and the Pub therefore offered
a much lower level of fayre and at a higher price !
Needless to say, those present were not happy with what we got for the price we paid.

I'm locking this topic now as any further comment is unnecessary, and I'd appreciate
it if nothing more is said on the matter in any other post or topic, ok.
