funky valve caps

loving these but i just know some oik will have them within a week of me fitting them :(

My thoughts  ,  don't bother , I had metal valve caps on mine , they had a rubber ring and were " greased " to stop them  corroding and welding themselves to the valve stems ,  but  guess what .......   yeah , they still got corroded on and even the tyre shop couldn't get them off so I ended up having to have all the valves replaced  . So now it's back to the boring black plastic ones .

some oik nicked the 2 blue anodised ones from the back of my ForFour within a week,
and the following week had the fronts as well.
So as Brulaw says...back to boring standard black jobbies.

Why can't they make them out of plastic so they don't corrode? It's not like they can't make any design they like out of plastic... plus they'd be lightweight...wouldn't increase your rotational mass so would not harm performance.  ;D

And they'd be cheaper so perhaps no one would steal them..

to maybe produce them and make money out of it.

We've had 'chrome' skulls with red jewelled eyes on all our cars for a few years now, and never had one pinched.  Guess Skulls and out of favour, or we've been lucky.

I remember people saying in bristol they had their motorbikes nicked by kids who would ride them around fields then take them back and put them where they found them on their way back home.
