  Hi guy's, I've teamed up with Miss Polkadot (Jules) who is experienced in starting and running smart clubs (Essex Smarties) and we are starting a monthly smart meet in Lincolnshire. First One hopefully in November, they will be held on a Sunday and it's for all smart cars so everyone is welcome! 

Miss Polkadot and I are looking at venues on Friday to find a suitable one for our needs and we will keep you all posted!

New Regular Lincolnshiresmart Meet

The LSC. The Lincolnshire smart Club

This will be a very friendly, informal smart car gathering where you can come along and meet up with like minded owners and chat about your cars; ask for advice and tips; discuss modifying or just have a laugh and chat about stuff and nonsence, whether you are new to the smart scene or a veteran. It will be a great place to meet up with old friends and make lots of new ones, all with a similar interest - smarts.

We have tried to pick a venue that is central for the whole of the county, allowing most folks to get here within a reasonable distance. So, after much toil and hardship testing venues and their food , we have decided on Woodcocks at The Quays, a very nice, upmarket establishment next to a marina with beautiful gardens. Children are very welcome and there are also excellent facilities for parents with younger children. We hope you are going to like it.

We look forward to seeing you on our very first meet on Sunday 6th November.

The Meet Dates:

1st Sunday in the month - every month 11.30am - 4pm-ish Lunch at 12.30pm

(except December when the meet will be Xmas Lunch on Sunday 11th December - We will post a seperate thread for this a bit later)

This is a fabulous venue, with fabulous food, which both Mitchturbo and myself can vouch for. The photo on the website doesn't do the place justice.

Because this is such a gorgeous place it is very popular, so if you would like to eat here it is ESSENTIAL to book a table at least a few days beforehand.

If you would like to eat please post here so that we can book an appropriately sized table on everyone's behalf. There is no booking fee to worry about. Of course you don't have to eat here, the choice is yours, but the food is very good with lots of 2-for-1 offers on the main courses, specials and Sunday roasts. The pub is next to a marina full of boats so there is an opportunity for you to go for a stroll there afterwards if you wanted to.
