i think i am currently getting about 25mpg in my BRAB around town - but god its good fun!!

I average 50mpg on my daily commute. Rarely drive by the fuel gauge more by the trip.

So low? Cos you gotta have fun! hee hee

Yeah yours is the same as mine. The fuel economy is first class. My last car was a Fiat Punto Speedgear CVT. Average around 35mpg and on a run maybe 50mpg taking it really easy. The Forfour is in a world of it's own. I don't bother now with checking. I know it's the most economical car I have ever owned.
25mpg out of the Brab aint bad when you think of the class the car has and the pleasure it gives.
Anyway I think it's very hard to do a proper analysis of fuel consumption with the different fuel pump characteristics. You might get somewhere by using the same pump at the same garage and waiting for the first click off at the nozzle. The only true way to do it is to have a measured gallon.
