Hey all I was just wondering if the Forfour spec levels are the same as the Fortwo. For example is it only the Brabus that has rear electric windows? I am still favouring a Brabus though am intrigued by the 95 Diesel. The car I have seen on Auto Trader is a pulse without rar elctric windows, can you get a diesel with more toys on it?

The Brabus "kit" was available as an option, so there are a very few non-Brabus forfours with the shocks, wheels, leather seats...

The rear electric windows are part of the Comfort Pack that includes electric and heated wing mirrors, armrest, light/rain sensor and all 4 electric windows with one-touch function (on the fronts at least)

Spec levels are common in the Smart range, there were Pure, Pulse Passion and brabus. The Brabus package can be had on any forfour, including leather seats, but there are still differences from the proper Brabus, the logo in the instruments, steering wheel, seats and headrests, center front bodypanel, etc.

Towards the end of the forfour life some new model levels came out, Blackbasic, Purestyle, Coolstyle, Sportstyle...a last effort to sell off stocks I suppose, they were mostly basic trim level models

So no, you don't have to buy a Brabus to have rear electric windows, any model could have them if the first buyer chose the Comfort Package...which was an option on all other models except Brabus which got it as standard of course...being the top of the range model, it had all the optional extras.

As usual Alex got in first and is correct in his explanation.
Nearly every ForFour is different....each having bits of this an that...
(option Packs actually)...or whatever the owner or later owners
managed to buy and fit or have fitted.
And there were many option Packs and bits.
Some if not most are unobtainable today......

I am intrigued now by the talk of electric back windows.  Were they not standard on the Passion then?

And, if I have them and an arm rest do I have a comfort pack?  What else was in it?

I think elec heated mirrors were in the comfort pack too

you could buy the pack OR you could spec the parts from the pack separately and the other way was to buy the car and fit them at a later date. i also know after working at volvo that you could spec a car and then fit some parts at the dealer, therefore the dealer buying the car 'cheaper' from the manufacture and still make money after the required parts have been fitted
