What interior perfume do you use?
« on: May 11, 2016, 08:03:10 AM »

So basically I don't like anything to stick out of my vents or hang in front of my head. What kind of products do you use that smells nice but it's not noticeable? What can I say,i probably have OCD for clean lines 😂

If the inside of your car smells or starts to smell then you need
to replace the aircon filter:-
http://www.forfour.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=150.0

You can also buy anti-bacterial spray in many different aroma's...
like chewing gum, or roses, or spring flowers etc etc.. that you can
spray up into or ever onto the filter.
Be aware that these sprays can be very strong/overpowering, so
only use a few sprays...or even dilute it with water and put that
into a small handy plastic pump bottle.

The other choice is to get one of those small round 'can' air fresheners
and stick it up under the lower facia panel beneath the heater controls,
or pop it into the front cup holder.

The idea with air cans is OK,but the problem is that they are all colorful and bright colors.I want something subtle.i.e you have from AMBIpur little black sticks that goes into the ventilation hole and blends in,you barely see it.Thats a nice option but not for our ventilation that's rounded and shallow

There are air vents under the front seats.

You can velcro anything to the carpet, and even if it spills it won't make a mess. Just put it to one side or even on the bottom of the seat so rear passengers don't knock it over with their feet.

If you use something powerfull it doesn't even need to be exposed to air flow, it will stink up the whole car in a few minutes.

I just use california scents golden state delight cans, chuck one wherever in the car and it smells of bubblegum for months.

California Scents for me too - 'Newport new car' is in a black tin

(ebay is best for them)

Best for subtle are Poppy Coral - velcro to centre tunnel console in front of the gear stick, as far up as possible....they're refillable and great smell too
