Hello again :)

Not a bad price and the engines on the BRAB are pretty bomb proof - rear shocks could
be an issue as could wheel bearings and corroded alloys are the norm not the exception
so bear that in mind....

TBH though, I have seen some reasonable examples on eBay for not a huge amount more ! Also try Pistonheads !!

You could very well get that one for £5k if interest is low though :)

I would say the one owner and full service history says an awful lot about how it's been cared for. If you're really interested juju get it inspected. 78,000 is nothing to modern engines. Also you have to think of how much mileage you're going to put on the car yourself. My Forfour is a 2004 and it's not done 30,000 yet. If you want a Brab get your skates on.  ;)
You should make sure you phone first. I found my wife's auto Tigra on Autotrader and it was seventy miles away. They said they'd hold the car till I got there to view. When I picked it up the following week they met me at the station. That was a one owner car and we still have it ten years on. Genuine 50,000 on the clock, used every day, and some would say that's worse treatment than high mileage use.

my forfour 1.1 has now 63,000 miles on the clock and its 5 years old, still runs good!
i always say if the car has been looked after service Wise then there should be no problem with the mileage being high. in fact i say a car with motorway miles will be better than one with very low miles. a car with very low miles wont have got up to full running temp but a car that has been sat on the motorway will have been at running temperature majority of the time.
