Hi, i have a question.
My smart was crashed and the engine was not hit hard. I try to turn the car on but it cant.
There must be some stop switch (crash switch), or power switch that stops the electricity after the crash. Do you know something about this?

When you say it had crashed, but the engine  was not hit hard, then
we have to assume it was still a hard crash to get as far as the engine !
That being the case, one would assume that the airbags deployed/triggered ?
If they did, then the electrics might as a safety feature stop the car from
being started or driven. The fuel pump might have shut down for safety.

With so many possibilities the best advice anyone can give is to somehow
get it to a garage that has a genuine MB 'STAR' diagnostics machine and plug it in.
That will then give you a list of faults etc, and possibly highlight why it won't start.
I suspect that 1 or more sensors have 'tripped' the electrics due to the accident.

The airbags where not triggered. The smart was parked when another car crashed him. I fixed everything and now i have no luck in turning him on.
I turn the key and he tries to turn on, but with no luck..i could only empty the battery.
If it's the fuel pump that's blocked for safety, do you know how to unblock it?

Sounds like a fuel cut off switch has been triggered (assuming you have fuel in the tank) Im not sure how to reset this as in some other cars its just a button which you press.. could also be crank/cam sensors

Does anyone here know how could i reset the fuel cut off switch, if that was triggered by the crash?

Fuel pump is under the seat but Musmart never mentioned a trip switch when he replaced his.

It's an auto yes?

Could be one of the sensors for the auto gearbox (stopping the car starting when thinking its in a gear)

Local smart garage with STAR diagnostics?
