Back seats don't have any connectors but the front ones do. Did you disturb under them?

Thank you! If I disconnect the connectors under the chair after I disconnect the battery. Do you think the light will go off?

I took it to the garage today and they ask for 120£ to bring an electrician  to do this . ridiculous! From my point of view.

i would have a look first....

torch under the back looking forward.... i would say the connector has come undone or been dislodged.

had the same problem on my old smart and on my pug 306 cab

i also used some vaseline to assist the contacts but that may have been bonkers.

you may need to reset the fault though with any generic OBD2 code reader

Run it down to us www.smart-sport.co.uk Often safety related lights can't be reset without proper Merc Star or Xentry diagnostics, we have main dealer level Xentry so can do this no problem. £54 inc vat 1/2hr labour & diagnostic charge.
