Morning,

I replaced my Cdi air filter and cabin pollen filter over the weekend, while under the dash I discovered a stray wire with a plug attached. It is hanging near the pollen filter box, I don't think it is for the heater flap as that's working and the plug is different anyway.

I couldn't see any obvious place for it to plug in to, so without dismantling the glove box surround, does anyone have an idea what this is for please?

It's not a plug I recognise TBH....

It may be part of a non-standard handsfree kit or something,
but as JJ says...it defo not OEM, so I would not worry about it.
But...if it bothers you, write to the previous owner (name etc
on the V5C logbook) and ask them if they have any idea or
knowledge of it. (They may need a copy of the last picture)

Thanks guys, I was going to take the under dash apart and see if I could trace where it goes but probably won't bother!

Hmm, does your car have the glovebox light which was deleted in later versions of the forfour? If not could it be for that?
