One touch window
« on: October 10, 2016, 11:19:56 AM »

The Brab has one touch up and down window control on the front driver side but down only on the front passenger side. Since buying the car this has been a puzzle to me. Any thoughts as to why... and might there be a way of changing the passenger side to up as well as down?

My first thought was the switch itself being marginally different between the two or if they are the same, then something is wrong on the passenger side... I doubt it will be controlled by the ECU, I can't recall anything like this when I was looking through one whilst doing my clutch re-teach.

All the switches are the same....and it is only the drivers side
that was ever 'one touch', and that was controlled by the
Window Control Module.

There are only 2 types of Window Control Module....2  or 4 window.
The 2 window version does not have drivers 'one touch'.

My apologies.......a rushed response on my Galaxy Note3...
I meant to say that car's with 4 electric windows only had
'one-touch' up on the drivers door.
The 2 electric window type does not have 'one-touch' either
up or down on either window....that I am aware of...leastways
my 2x CDI's don't have it, nor the Passion 4-4 that my 'ex' wife
owns, nor on the Passion 4-4 that my daughters owns. Also it was
not on the 2 4-4's with only 2 electric windows that were at S2 recently.

Ok. My 1.1 with only the front electric windows doesn't have auto up/down either. My thoughts were, is it down to a module or can it be configured via a Star machine? Seems odd to me on the Brab that it is only the driver side. Surely wouldn't have cost anything to make it both sides? Wonder what the situation is on the CZT?
