What's mods are beneficial?
« on: January 28, 2017, 03:13:14 PM »

I'm thinking about forge hoses but, I heard they make no difference is this true? Is it worth/straight forward to fit colt seats? Reason I ask is, I find the Colt seats more supportive and they looked good in a silver Brabus I saw on eBay.
I really want to sort my headlights out but I'm having trouble with the link post d up for the custom ones.

You are right...Forge hoses 'look nice' but are of little real benefit.
Others would/will tell you otherwise.....obviously.

Colt CZT seats (fronts) are a straight fit....as per a Guide/post I did.
Just ensure that you disconnect the battery before removing your old
seats and fitting the replacements.
Also....do check to ensure that the plugs on the ends of the electrical
connections are exactly the same .... the last set of CZT fronts that
I got had different connectors on them !  You can of course get the
pins out of each and swap the connectors over. (Fiddly for those
who do not have the skill or technical know-how.)
Oh, and do not forget to fit spacing/packing washers under
the passenger front bolts under the subframe...so that the seat
clears the sub woofer when the seat is moved back n forth.
Again, that's covered in my Guide/post.

I've still got those CZT seats...not fitted...fronts and back...
from a 3 door that fit our cars...black with red stitching...
I may part with them as I won't need rears and have a pair
of Cobra Daytona's I'll be fitting up front. :o

Ahhh...headlights....I presume you mean the replacement projectors.
PM me with the details of your problem and I'll help you sort it, ok.  ;)
