Well, thanks for your thoughts, observations and comments. Last weekend I drove up to Staffordshire to pick up the Cruiselines, which member unstead9 had for sale. It was quite a long journey, some 440 miles return but well worth it. The seller and his wife are lovely folks and I found that we had quite a bit in common, especially the forfour.
Anyhow, I’m really pleased with the wheels. They are in near mint original condition and have good winter tyres, one reason why I have decided to fit them now. I can also use this opportunity to have the others refurbed. They aren’t bad, but could be better after 12 1/2 years on the car. Personally, I like the look of both sets, so I’ll be happy to swap them over again later in the year.
