Hi all,
Just put my 2006 Brabus in for its test this morning. Had a very nice call from the garage saying I had a leak in the exhaust and a rear wheel bearing needed replacing. Bearing is no problem. The exhaust however is a different matter. Mercedes don't make them anymore and there aren't any in stock. So I'm without my car for a few days. You can get stuff off the shelf for cars that are multiple decades old so why not my Brabus. Not a happy bunny.

Prob find out which part is leaking and then see if can be repaired or if it needs a brab specific part. Lots of members have gone to exhaust fabricators to get repairs/replacement parts. Also option from the breakers.

As Scoobysook says...which part of the exhaust is leaking.

The exhaust system is 98% the same as that of the Colt CZT
of 2004-2008....with the exception of the back box which is a
single pipe on the CZT rather than the twin on the Brabus.
Elsewhere you would see that it is a known fact that the rear
Brabus box robs the engine of around 8-10% power as it is
quite restrictive.
One can either get a custom secondary CAT back system made,
or buy a Scorpion system (kit) designed for the Colt CZT and
have the single tailpipe chopped off and replaced with a twin
exit type at an exhaust place if one so wishes.
The choices are all yours.

True, but the Brabus was produced in such small numbers and imported here in even fewer... less than 300. So it’s just not economically viable for them to stock these parts for 14+ year old cars. A shame but there it is. 😕

Hi all, thanks. The garage got it repaired at a fabricators they use. I didn't see what was wrong myself, but trust the garage. There was a pipe section repair and the back box. Will be look to get a cat back stainless system in the future. Any advice on company, such as Powerflows? I had a system made up by them when I had my Soarer.

Not too noisy and seems to allow a fraction more boost at WOT

i had an exhaust made be a company called STG Performance in Wakefield... although its a fair ride out from where you are.
