But you are of the lady, and I am of the man. I'm 'technically' a bad driver according to the insurers !
saying that what happens when a claim goes 50/50 ? do I loose 1 years NCB or all 3 that I have earned ?
Sorry for the thread jacking.

Man or woman, when you write off a car, insurance gets expensive ;)

50:50 you should only use 1yr but guess it depends on your insurer

Hmmm - yes you can't offer cheaper insurance to females but if the risk associated to a certain demographic (like old people) is lower then the insurance premium is lower!

If statistics state that females aged 20-25 in Bristol are less likely to be in an accident than males aged 20-25 in Leeds then the female will have the lower premium and in general, women and old people are less likely to be in an accident..... they cause many but are never involved...haha - joke!!

Now now JJ.......I could get on your case there as I'm just at that ripe old age to get offended...hahaha

Oh and the rule about not offering cheaper insurance to women doesn't take effect until December I think.
I know it's not with immediate effect anyway......
