If you tell Merc what you have done they should adjust their quote to suit. See how that turns out.

I just think you should keep up the Smart service history as you have a Brab it should help retain some of the value.

Thats annoying! I think its nice to keep a service history tidy, especially when you have a model like yours. I think with performance models its good to see the car has been well looked after but thats just me.

Do it yourself, keep all the receipts and write in the service book what was done.

That way when you come to sell it in the distant future, you will have a few home services with all receipts and documentation to back it up.

I would not hesitate to buy a well documented / serviced car.

Will say do it yourself. The whole fun of having something you love and cherish is by you doing most of the thing's yourself and with receipt backup is fine. By the way a well serviced car always sounds sweet and most buyers will know. People can buy service history anyway from ebay for their cars. ;)
