Mr Singh, and anyone else with any special dietary requirements -

Please can I ask for you to read through the menu on the pub's website as well as ones I have posted.
If you cannot find anything specifically suitable, I am sure if you call and ask to talk with their Kitchen Manager or Head Chef
then they may be able to accommodate you better with a suitable dish made from their supplies. Many Chefs are happy to make up a meal from ingredients/menu items that they have in their kitchens if it is possible for them to do so. They may have specials or items they can work from.

This is not something that can be done via proxy and I do hope you understand and can find something suitable.

Thank you again,

V

Hi All,

Anyone else interested in meeting up afterwards?

Can I have requests for meals as soon as possible? If the grand total is 16 people I will ask the pub if they can do a buffet for us if everyone is happy with this?

Thanks!

Hi Guys,

No problem- I have emailed the pub and asked them if they can provide a buffet for us :)
Please can other members let me know ASAP if they will be joining us as the pub need to know sooner rather than later.

Hello Again,

I have received an email from the Pub and they are happy that we have a Buffet menu- I pasted the details on the previous page of this thread so if you all could tell me which Buffet you prefer (A- £10.00 per head B- £14.00 per head or the Summer BBQ Buffet which we can pick food from and split the bill afterwards).

As soon as I know the majority of what people will want, I can put this to the pub to prepare for us on the day.

Please let me know ASAP.

Thanks!

£10 a head sounds logical... Plus means more to spend on drink *hic

Also it gives the opportunity for one to order something of the menu too if they want a specialist something... Aka pudding!

Either I've missed it (blind ol' git), or it's not been posted yet...
What time is the venue for the food booked ?
And what time should those going gather in the car park at MB ?

And we follow those who went last year and know the way?...LadyV+Fox, yah ?

Hi G, I've basically asked them to arrange it for 5pm or after as I didn't know when the festival finished.

If you think that we should say an earlier time, please let me know.

If we all meet up by either mine or Fox then we can "lead the way". If you have a sat nav and want to meet us there- the postcode is on the website.

Any questions let me know!!

Ooops, I have double checked my emails and I have said to the pub that we will be there after 4pm, not 5pm.

If anyone has any questions about this, please let me know :)

4pm is more the ideal time as from past experience the Festival has started to thin out
as people start to depart from around 2.30pm to 3pm (those with  long distances to travel).
By 4pm it is just about 'dead in the water', so your initial timing for 4pm is perfect I'd say.

If we changed it to 5pm then we would be sitting around waiting and be tempted by
drink, which for anyone driving is a real no-no if they want to have the pleasure of
even 1 glass of wine (or a 1/2 of lager/beer) with their meal.
