^this looks a bit too much like the Tata for my liking!

The original pic looks ok, but just needs the front changing a bit so it doesn't look like the Punto

I couldn't care less how it looks. If they build a car as strong, reliable and economical as the original forfour, it will surely be my next car when my forfour or SX4 can't take me anymore.

firstly i may look like the Tata nano but i bet its a damn site safer than that 'death box' as the indians are calling it, and i carnt see the 'punto like front' you are claiming. thats like saying the Jaguar XK looks like the Aston Martin DB9, we've had 2 DB9's traded in at work and they look nothing like.
Alex, at a guess id say the diesel engines will be french... the french know there diesel engines, and the petrol engines will be jap (a nissan lump) so you know jap engine are pritty much bomb proof... shame they arnt working with honda, imagine a forfour with vtec ;D

It is more than a shame....can you imagine what a co-operation like that could have
achieved ?   i can just see it now...a 'flatter roofed' Civic....with a few changes to the
front and rear end... and badged as a forfour !
Now there would be a throughly good replacement.
And it could've had a range topping ForFour Type-R !   A worthy Brabus replacement.
