I got my stickers this morning & have promptly gone on destination smart complaining there is no pic of the Forfour or Roadster on it .......
so much for a smart fest ..LOL

Way ta go...say it/tell it like it is.... missing off the ForFour indeed...(ok, & the Roadster)...
Typical...bet it was done/designed by someone who doesn't even know what they are or has seen/noticed them....
a dis-interested motorist as in.... "it 's a car and gets me from A to B..what it is...am I bothered.".
(Bet they drive a Proton or something equally obscure....LOL)

Well, if you take the word literally, they oppose us by taking an opposite stance.
We are here to talk about Forfours and to help the owners, they have moved well away from that and on to more pressing matters such as holidays, babies etc.

And a good day WAS had by all...I think I can say that without fear of being corrected.

The sun shone....the sky was clear....it was a glorious day in fact. Wish as usual there had been more traders though.
As for the food selection..the fish n chips were smashing...(and I'm not a lover of fish !) Can't comment on the rest...

But most importantly it was good to meet EVERYONE who managed to make it, and renew aquaintances, from no matter
which club/site/whatever.  Somehow I managed not to see/meet up with LadyV+Tossy, even though I hung around their
cars at the end of the show. And I did look out for everyone......

I think we should push/press for a seperate parking zone for ForFour's.....there were quite a few...but spread out too thin
and far apart.  It shouldn't take much to keep a space for 30 or so in that place....and we are in the minority.

And once again...not one ForFour got anywhere in the competitions !   And for those who have ventured or not inside the
MB museum...the one Smart missing is the ForFour ?? Are they embarressed or ashamed...I think not. But they should be.

Anyway.....thanks to all/everyone for being there and trying to raise the profile of the ForFour......my thoughts are ...that
if we can't get a ForFour specific area next year, lets jointly try and organise/arrange a rendezvous point and turn up on masse
so that we have to be grouped together.....yes ?  (Tesco's car park at Brooklands perhaps ?)

it is a shame that the forfour wasn't inside the museum, like I said to you 'G' maybe its because it had such a short life or its a Mitsubishi,
who knows. Cracking day I have to say, sun was out and not a drop of rain and LOADS of smarts.
It's a shame I couldn't demo my iPod kit, bloody iPod locked up as I parked up   and it started working after I got on to the M25  
As for the forfours meeting up, how about meeting the day before and stay in a hotel, that way we can all arrive together rather than waiting
for others and getting late on the day if that makes sense.
As for mine, I'm surprised ! 438 miles on ONE tank of fuel and I've still got 1/8th of a tank left, I had 1/2 a tank as I stopped at Leicester Forest
services...I got to Brooklands with 3/4 of a tank.

Good to meet you all, thanks to those that came over to find me, I couldn't really venture too far from the stand as I was required to answer some odd and technical questions.

Finally today I've seen that 1,420 Smarts made it to the Festival (info from destinationsmart)...
and over 4,000 people !   
And apologies for an error saying there is not ForFour in the museum.....I've been told that there's
the Brabus Conccpt rally car in there....  One day I'll even take the time to go have a real look around it.
And the Brooklands Museum as well.  But it'll more than likely be when the sun pokes it's head out again.
So that'll be next year then...LOL...
