Yeah, i wonder how orrange would look, so they match my KTM orange Hell brake lines
and my orange (well brick red) interior.
Non brabus forfours have very small brake discs, just 256mm on the front, and you can barely see them
But mine are still the original ones, so at over 100K miles, they are a bit rustty as well, so they'll need changing to if I'm going to sport such lovely wheels
Great ideea CrazyG, I'll go on my bike ahead of each trip, fill all the potholes, then come back and take the car
Might be faster than to drive slow enough to avoid all of them, Romanian roads aren't all that smooth.
I run 2.2 atm. to get a feel of them, they're weight (unfortunately tires are RFT, so v heavy but no need for a spare tire) and how the car handles. Braking distance has INCREASED massively, where as before i would barely touch the pedal to stop from 50kph, now i have to really mash the pedal to stop. Acceleration has suffered also... as will MPG i susspect.
I am now thinking of lightening the flywheel to offset this increased rolling mass..but í think i may just bin these tires and get something softer, lighter, and start carying a spare. No punctures in my life so far, but i would'n want to get one now..
