it still surprises me that yank tanks have such big engines, but produce such little power for their size.

i mean a 6 litre corvette engine produces approx 300 BHP and the 5 litre jaguar engine is producing roughly the same and its more fuel efficient

They remind me of what playdough would look like if you made a tyre from it!

It does remind me of the time once when I was asked what colour tyre I wanted when I went to a garage in Leeds.  I was all excited until they offered grey or black

I can't remember the garage, could have been Halfords or Kwik Fit, but I am talking of about years ago.  It was on the roundabout that you go round as you would head up to the station (go under the line) and towards town.

Don't live in Leeds, but used to work there as a manager in TGI Friday's and Pizza Land for a while, lived out in Claydon, Bradford.  I am originally from Yorkshire though, just got a passport and moved South

as you come off the M621 or the armley gyratry?
if its the one i think it is, its near TGI fridays and they are an exhaust and tyre specialist on wellington street. they sorted out our 'L' reg fiesta. it sounded like a diesel and when they fit a new gasket to the exhaust it sounded like the 1.1 petrol engine.
