finally got the call today, and im off to derby this week wednesday. asked my sister if she wants to go just to see what they do as she want to go in to photography and has done many photo shoots for SAA-uk, a music organisation in leeds

i am looking forward to it, one because my car will be seen by THOUSANDS of readers and two cos my sisters going with... she is the best person for a fun day out!
in regards to your 2ND question JJ, as quoted from goodness gracious me... 'am i b@ll@cks' its going to be done by me, the way i know how, wash, clay, polish and wax... hopefully with my sisters help, keeps her off the streets and all

eheheh... yeah go grass tracking in a muddy field before turning up.
I'm letting the auto glym hi def wax 'set' as i type, looks shiny... the only think that's letting the car down is the wheels , they REALLY need refurbishing. got a quote from a company that powder coats wheels and its just over 300 quid (wheels removed from car, tyres removed re- furbed and refit)

£300 to have the standard 4 spoke wheels refurbed is not cheap...it's a rip off !

they are such a simple wheel to refurb in comparison with other wheels...
I'd take the car to them, show them how easy they are to do, and ask for
a second opinion/revised quote.

When Tom did Lady v's wheels, he did them using a black and decker mouse, varying grits of paper and then simply used rattlecans to paint in multiple layers.

He did them infront of the tv in a couple of days and charged us £20 a wheel.

He told me exactly what to do and said I could clean them up at any time if I wanted, just rub over with some fine paper and pop another coat on. He did them with tyres on, just deflated so as not to pop the bead and make easier to mask and spray.

Honestly Mr Singh, I think you could do them yourself.
