I'd imagine the fit is 'snug'?

Has anyone ever fitted a babyseat into a Brab?

Yes - isofix (2006) and recaro young sport with seatbelt

Only the very very late ForFours had ISO-fix....
But, there are some owners who had ISO-fix in their cars but didn't use it.

Recommendation:- Recaro Young Sport......as per JJ and a few others.

Isofix was mandated in 2006 so anything produced after that had to have it :)

Mine is an 06 (not a 56) but has a few options so was a special order no doubt.

Last question, i promise! ;)

I had somebody have a look at a Brabus for me today (it's a long way for me to travel).
Everything seemed well, the only potential concern was the clutch.
He said it seemed quite heavy, although it was'nt slipping or jerking at all, the car is on the original clutch & is at 44,000miles, obviously the clutch is dependant on who's been driving it, but what's the clutch 'like' on your Brabus'?
If i'm going to need to factor into the deal a clutch, what should i be looking at for it to be done at MB & at a good Indy?

Thanks Chaps!

at a guess id set aside roughly a grand for the clutch as thats what many but not all placed charge to fit a clutch these days. the best way to diagnose clutch slip is put it in 5th at 30 mph and floor it, as the engine comes on to boost the revs will rise but the speed wont.

All three pedals in my brab are heavier than in most cars I've driven, so if it "seemed quite heavy" I'd suggest it's probably not.

It's actually quite different in feel to any car I've had, which tend to have a light, easy clutch. the brabus clutch feels solid rather than heavy, and is perhaps less progressive than some, but still works perfectly well as it is.

It can however be quite hard on your left leg if you hold it down at lights.

I dont have a price for a Brabus clutch, but in general the "£1,000" clutches are "duel mass flywheels" which tend to be fitted to most diesels now days.  I would expect an "averige" petrol clutch to be just over half that.
My clutch shows no sign of failing at 62,000.  You do see Brabus's with much higher miles and I have never seen an advert saying "recent clutch" so I am guessing that they are not a weakness.

Ask as many questions as you want.  Its best you know the answers BEFORE you buy.

If I paid that for a clutch, I'd not expect it to fail either... :P

I wouldn't say the clutch is heavy but it's also not feather light like standard jap clutches.

My pug clutch is v heavy
