My clutch was slipping at 90000 miles. I had various quotes; £850 from MB, £650 from Inde, and £460 from a local garage.
I took her in on Friday to my local national garage that I’ve been going to since I started driving, £480 to get it replaced... Friday evening went to collect, they ordered the wrong clutch plate! Looks like she'll be out of action for a good week, phh!
My advice from this is if you have an issue take it to somewhere that has resolved that issue before!
As for the weight of the clutch I would say it is quite heavy in comparison to all other cars I’ve driven.
