On the BRAB it's just an oil change every 6000miles (intermediate) but I don't do 6000miles so mine has never had the intermediate change as it just gets its annual one.

Cam belt is more than 36000 miles - there is a thread all about it. Thinks its 60000.

Good luck

Hi Lawrence,

Did you come here on my recommendation (from PH) or did you know about the site?

As I mentioned in my e-mail to you that I may shortly be selling my Brabus, and I intend to advertise it next week.

It is just the "wrong" side of 60,000 miles, but the cam belt and tensioners etc are being changed this Monday by a well known specialist.

It has the built in sat nav (nav disk just over a year old), and hands free kit.  I also have a spare set of wheels that have not had tyres fitted since being refurbished, which will be included in the sale if the price is right.

Not much else to say really.  It is black with black leather.  Good all round condition, has had the 6,000 mile oil changes carried out (most have not, except for really low milage ones that have only done 6,000 miles a year) and had new brake pads front and rear fitted at the last service.

If this is of interest, get in touch.

Thanks Duncan, chap's i've been speaking to seem reluctant to do a deal, plus i don' want to buy a car that needs the belt doing on it, they want me to pay for the belt on top of what they've got the car up for.
The search continues...

is this one from a smart dealer or an independant garage? in my mind when buying a car thete should be a minimum of 12 months use of wear and tear items, but when it comes to a cam belt id argue it to be done before i buy it. buy one with over 60k that way you wont have the hassel of having it or getting it done for a while.

I think you'll find just about any Brabus you'll find will need the belt doing, either now or soon.

They're all reaching that age.  Mine included sadly for me.

It was from an Indy, i said that as the car was due a belt change, then in theory it should be done before a sale, as IMO a screen price is the OTR price, as in it's ready to go for that price.
Not having to pay extra for the belt on top.
I've told them that if they want a deal they need to re-consider before i'll even think about putting pen to paper.
I'm in no rush as i still hav'nt sold my car yet so the balls in my court as far as i'm aware!
