Cheap underseat storage
« on: May 18, 2012, 06:46:25 PM »

Just in case anyone is interested ive been after a couple of storage boxes for under my seats as i dont really want to pay £60 a throw for the drawers which look quite shallow.
Happened to see these in poundland and they fit perfectly and push under far enough so will not get in the way of passengers feet. They fit so snug that they wont slide about when driving :)

Im going to drill holes in the sides and thread some rope around as a make shift handle to make it a little easier to pull out. Hope this bit of bargain info helps others :)

Nice one - you'll have to give the dimensions though so people can find the right size ones!

Are you pushing them under the front seats, from the back?

Maybe get some pics of the box under the seat so we can see how snug it is too!

They were the only boxes in that style I just took a punt for £2 that they would fit, they push under from the rear seats will get a piccie took tomorrow to show the fit, there a decent size so you would get plenty of goodies in them, i would even say you'd get a can on de-icer in them too

Hmmmm...
i'm thinking that they'll be ok if your car doesnt have the 'premium' sound system....
which would mean that you could only fit them under the drivers seat if you did as the
sub-woofer would be in the way under the passenger seat otherwise.
But yeah, still a good 'Mod' there djames108  ;)
