And the saga continues...............
The Smart had it's windscreen replaced as a stone chip had started to crack. Autoglass came out and fitted that windscreen (after alot of faffing around with the glass coming in but not the trim, so they had to rebook the appointment for the morning of the MOT grrr). The bloke came out to fit it and said he didn't have the warranty paperwork, so would post it to us. My husband got in the car to take to the MOT place and there was a blooming big scratch down the drivers side.
Phoned them up, and they said that they would come replace it, but had to wait a week so that it came out clean, so that was last Thursday. New windscreen refitted, and Friday the thing cracked from the edge at the bottom upwards
They have agreed to come out and replace it (again) with a dealer windscreen. It now makes you wonder what the quality actually is of the autoglass windscrren that they use
