Brabus and the Recycling People
« on: June 21, 2012, 04:41:09 PM »

My Brabus seems to raise eyebrows and lead to queries and jealous comments every time I visit a waste and recycling centre...

In Rickmansworth the other day a girl working there wanted to know all about it.  She also wanted a go in it... but I declined politely.

Today in Hemel Hempstead one of the guys working there asked "is that really a Brabus?" with a look that said "nah of course it isn't."  He then told me all about those Smart cars done up by Brabus... lol

It's nice when people ask about my car, it makes me more glad I have it, it just seems there's a higher proportion of car lovers working in these places than anywhere else!

Hopefully it's not because they see alot of smart Brabi to recycle ( note clever use of Brabi for plural of Brabus, well chuffed with that, sad, I I know )

Maybe it's born out of the amazement they've built up on seeing
how much stuff peops have managed to load/unload from their
little ForTwo's. And that's made them smile and take an interest.

That's what I found when I visited my local recyling place when
I went in my ForTwo......they stopped, stared n smiled and then
started asking questions n chatting.
Been back since in the ForFour and they've recognised me and
stopped n chatted.
