I still think the best option would be finding some nice 16" steel wheels, get them banded and run a euro look ;)

The thing with two cars though is the duplicity of running costs- insurance- will your NCB be mirrored, tax, servicing etc.

I would look at possibly 16 wheels with poss a larger profile but within the 2.5% tolerance, and also changing the suspension maybe to coilovers allowing more travel and hopefully more cushioning of the ride- rather than hitting the bump stop and the whole weight of the car transmitted through the wheel suddenly.

The stock czt/ralliart wheels have the same outer diameter as the monoblocks 205/45/16 - could give them a try

What would be the problem with using the rear brab coil spring on the front? We would get a stiffer spring with a bit more vertical travel (which wouldnt compress so quickly on a pothole avoiding bottoming out and denting the rim)

Front is a coilover set up (spring over the damper)

Rear is separate damper and spring combo

Errrr don't even think about it !
First set of lowering springs I had were Spax.....I didn't fit them...a local garage did (not S2).
The ride was s#ite.....and so dam low too....then after about 6 months I had the MoT and the
tester let me under the car...and it ws then I saw that I had 2 sets of rear springs on the car ! !
Spax had f#@ked up and supplied 2 sets of rears in the box...that I never checked...and that
garage never queried as they thought it was what I ordered ! Car was -40mm a the front ! !
Soon changed them back to original fronts and then ordered KW set-up.

I have a set of fk springs for the micra, I wasn't over-enamoured with them and changed them back pretty quick.

Would sell them but expect I'll take them to the tip, can't exactly recommend them to anyone.
