I am still amazed as to the limited colour choice on the Brabus, the all black car looks a bit boring to me, all silver is ok though.

The new fortwo Brabus is all about choice, you can have any colour you want, I so wanted the dark grey tridion with a silver car! That colour really shows off the lines of the car.

The lines get a bit washed out with the car all the same colour.

Ah but all in one colour then means it blends in with all the other cars...so the MIB
(Men In Blue....as in policemen) won't be able to pick it out so easily....
And also, it has the advantage of Joe Public not coming out with...
"Here comes one of those multi coloured boy racer rockets".

It's the very subtlety and understatedness that is the beauty of it.
We know what it is & appreciate it because we have a 'similar' car...

I agree.  No one knowing what it is, or what it is capable of, is one of the reasons that I like it.

the silver BRAB is 2 colours

the "basic" metallic silver trid and the starlight silver panels.....

Those that do know about the Brabus advertise them at the right price.....
it's only the 'don't know, don't care, I just drive it' people who advertise them cheaper.
To them it's just a car and they can't see the true value of it.  Most of those 'types'
never give it a 'good workout' so never get to feel that 'smile moment' that is so addictive.

Yes, but surely, when they bought them, they knew it was not the shopping model.  For starters it would have cost more to buy & insure.

There are not enough of them around for someone to buy one "by accident" or because it was the "first one I saw"

Some of them buy them because they have all the bells n whistles,
like leather intereior...heated seats....maybe SatNav....and other bits,
or because it's the top model...like the Ghia that Frauds used to do.

Every car I sell, I now put on flea bay for 1p, no reserve.

Its nail biting, half an hour before, you are looking at half the going rate.  Touch wood, to date, I have always had a fair price.

I could get more, but doing it this way is a certain sale. In the past, I have had cars on auto trader for months.  By the time that you have got that last pound, you would have been far better off selling it quicker for less.

my mum has seen that comment and she isnt happy! ever since we had out accident in our (last) 'H' reg micra mums ALWAYS had fords, out first ford was a white 'L' reg fiesta 1.1 lx, then it was a silver 'V' reg escort 1.6 flight, then a silver 'W' reg focus 2.0 ghia (hatchback), and now (another) silver 55 reg focus 1.6 ghia

others will soon add to here...LOL
