....I was going to ask him if he would put me some angel eyes in ......

Read my 'Angel Eyes' post in the Lighting Tech section...
The mouldings around the headlamp units are oval/elipsoidal, not circular...
and to cap that, the faces are curved as well.
In other words, just short of a nightmare to do, seriously...as I found out !

The grills are great.
I got the silver one. Had it two years now. At first it was very bright. now it looks better. Maybe that is time.
The black one for £13 is a bargain. I do recommend one.

It could be worse  :(
Now you get it all fixed at no costs. Better than nothing at all ;)

If only. Unfortunately even though it was a blame free accident, the insurance will still go up and you'll have to state that there has been a claim.

some car insurance providers don't penalise customers for having their cars damaged through no fault of their own.

I've seen them say.....

"we will not take your NCB if you are hit by an uninsured driver"

....but never heard them say.....

"We will not increase your premiums if you are bit by an uninsured driver"

A claim is a claim unfortunately and if you change insurers then you have to declare it on the new policy :)

Accident regardless of fault. Have heard of a hike in premium even if the car was parked and hit. Said because you have had an accident - regardless of fault- your more likely to have one.

Hopefully you won't get sting too much

Ahhhhh...the beauty of 'protected no-claims'...
which actually means you can get 2 knocks in 2 years and not be penalised for it.
Well that's what they tell you......in turth though...they hike your next premium
and tyr to 'cover it up' by telling you that all premiums have gone up.
They have actually....but what they haven't told you that yours has gone up anyway
cos you made a claim !   They'll get you (and your money) one way or the other.

Next to politicians, Insurance companies run a close second together with Banks
and the Utility companies for screwing the public one way or the other.

I had a good run out in me 44 today but before I could go I had to do the rear wiper because it had seized up, but the technical guide helped me sort it  ;D
