Bike rack for the brabus
« on: July 30, 2013, 01:55:47 PM »

Ok done some reading and a rear mounted rack is not advisable, so i am thinking for going for a roof mounted one.  However i have a brab with a twin glass roof, help can i fit roof bars, if not err what does anyone suggest.  Or what bars should i go for etc?

Cannot get it in the back even with taking the front wheel off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The original roof rack has no issues with either of the forfour's roof. If you can find an original set of bars, then they would be perfect for the job.

Kinda stating the obvious here:P

I get the hint JJ......and I may be tempted to part with the 2nd set of roof bars that I have
although I don't have a spare bike rack for them.
However, it will depend on 2 things....
1/ if my daughter says she doesnt want them (she has a ForFour) ...   and...
2/ if that's ok, agreeing a price for them and for the postage, as we're not exactly
    that close distance wise.

I should have an answer to 1/ by the weekend as I hope to see her Friday...
I'll PM you when I know, then we can take it from there...Ok
