Reset Trip Millage
« on: August 14, 2013, 07:25:50 AM »

Can someone please help.  I've searched in the manual and on here.....

Can't find how to reset the trip miles. I have I guess the standard controls; no fancy steering controls, just to dials.  Dial on left two buttons above and dial on right one button above.  I know the button on the far left scrolls through the menu (doesn't display MPG though :-( and the next button if held down resetst the time, the 3rd button on the 2nd dial seems to control the light.  Can someone help please?

You star :-)  Cheers.

Just registered on FUELLY website - and it says (even though I have had a heavy right foot as it's my first fill up since testing the car) its returning 61mpg.  Now time to drive like Miss Daisy and see what I can really get out of her.

Is it normal not to display MPG on my model - even though it's the PASSION trim?

Yup. Only the ones with an optional trip computer had it, a second screen below the rev limiter like in all brabus ones

the trim level means nothing. i have a passion and id consider it basic as it has no dash pods, no centre armrest, a radio 5. iv herd that some pulse models are higher in spec

you only get the multifunctional display if you have the multifunctional steering wheel

The Passion in 'standard trim' was indeed a higher spec than the Pulse.
But...you could specifiy whatever extra's/packs you wanted added when the car was ordered,
so some Pulse's may indeed have ended up over the Passion spec, but.....as far as the log book
was concerned, it started life as a Pulse.  As we have said time and again...each and every ForFour
is different, and if you are in the market, find one with as many bells n whistles as possible.

The only exception to this is the Brabus.
There wasn't much that it didn't have as standard. The only options I can think of that could have
been added to the UK spec model were....
headlight washers, automatic lights/wipers, Monobloc A's,  Radio 6 or the Command SatNav head
unit over the Radio 5.
They all came with the multi-function steering wheel.
(someone will come along and tell me that I'm wrong there...that's for sure   ::) )

No, you're not wrong G but there were three other 'extras' which the Brab (and indeed other forfours) could have which we're the electric opening roof, the CD changer and the three seat rear bench.
