The missing car from my collection....a Crossblade.  8)
I just love it....and your makin me jealous already...  ;)

Pssst...
If you are going to the Smart Fest in Sept, take a look at the Ferrari red coloured one
that will be there again this year (with a Ferrari owners club badge on it...he also owns a Ferrari or 2 !)
I met the owner 2weeks ago...and I had a look/show around it !
It gobsmacked me !  (It's had a fortune spent on it...)
700cc Brabus 101 Roadster engine and gearbox, remapped,
6 pot caliper brakes, Viper induction, silicon pipes, uprated suspension,
etc etc etc..and then some ! Clean....an understatement...you could eat your dinner off the engine.
And the underside and wheel arches were just as spotlessly immaculate too !

I know Colin, and have looked at his car from a distance - i've been keeping away from Crossblades til I could afford to get one ;) He's popping along to the smart Brentford open day on Saturday 17th, we'll have a mini Crossblade meet :D

I'm planning on keeping mine (though I should say "ours") as close to factory standard as possible.

It's been great fun zooming around Bristol in it today, even a guy driving a new Ferrari did a double take! Love it!

If and when I sell my 95 M5 I'll quite possibly be in the market for a Crossblade...
to complete my set..so to speak.

Wouldn't mind one either. Most are very low miles but no one seems to know what they are worth, I have seen them up for sale between 6K and 14K.

Nope, from Reading. Dunno if the Burger King guy still has his, but i'm led to believe his had a very hard life.

Very nice!

I've been so tempted a couple of times but being a family man (and already having 3 smarts and only a single garage  :) ) I'll just have to wait. One day.....

Did you do your lights yourself and did you follow the same process as G did on his how-to??

I want to do but I need to find a weekend where I don't need my car :(
