Hey there OTV..
how ya doing fella...long time no see....
Boot space in a ForFour...hmmmmm tricky one that as the back seats can slide forward
and back...and if you flatten forwards the 1/3:2/3 split backrests you can unlock and tilt
the entire back seat up and forwards against the backs of the front seats. (A little red tag
with a hook clips to the driver headrest post to hold it in place)
It's also not that hard to remove the entire back seat....albeit that it weighs quite a lot if/when
you try to 'oik' it out.

What dimensions/sizes are we looking at....have you any idea of that you're after ?
Oh and if you do got for a ForFour it must be Passion...with as many extras as poss on it.
A diesel (preferably a 95) and manual...Oh and black ! (As usual)

Good choice...black or silver (at a push for you)..
As stated...the Passion is the one to get....and every one is different...
as it depended on who ordered what fitted to it when they bought it.
Normally only has front elec windows and manual door mirrors.

Options list was humungous...
From temp and clock pods on dash top, to elec rear windows, elec operating +heated door mirrors,
rear window blind, front centre armrest/drinks holder, elec front roof, premium sound pack with sub
under the front pax seat and tweeters in door upper edge, radio 6 or radio 5 or command centre
with satnav (rare and I don't think worth having as you have to have disk in to use it), 16" wheels
vice 15" wheels, triple rear headrst vice twin (or none), lounge concept front seats, auto wipers,
auto lights, come home lighting function....and much more.

Personally if you're gonna mod it to within an inch of its existence than seek out a 68hp CDi running on steels, softouch and sans air con to benefit from cheap tax.

I can't see much draw of a Passion over a Pulse if you're going to mod it, there is very little difference. Forfours are pretty crap on spec, use a dealer to source you one, save yourself a lot of hassle looking.

If you're remapping I would seriously look at the softouch (with paddles if you can) it is a very quick gear change in manual mode and with paddles more time with your hands on the wheel fighting against the torque ;)

Black forfours are cheaper than silver strangely, maybe look out for a titanium trid with bay grey panels.

I think Mrs OTV wants some initial luxuries and the less time we are trying to retrofit stuff, the more stuff we can invent.

Good to have you here John, about time we had a forfour to look at properly.

What ?  Air con and alloys ?  That's about the only real luxuries the Passion has over
the Pulse, apart from the height adjustable seat (that needs modifying to stay put) and
a heavy glass/polycarbonate roof.

Forfour prices are crazy at the moment, Brabs can be picked up for a little as £5k now.

Would say aircon is a must regardless of any tax advantage.

Well that's a tall order because it's an irregular shape and we'll all see it different.
I've had a rough go for you and it can only be rough.

hatch aperture 41inches at it's widest remember it tapers upwards and 25 inches high.

From floor to nearly ceiling 36 inches. Between wheel arches 39 inches. Hatch to rear folded forward rear seat 36 inches.
This is roughly a cubic yard, but the hatch slopes somewhat taking some away.

Hang on you'll get another 6 inches if you just fold the seat back forward, but then lose some height.

If you want the official splurge it's 268-330 litres luggage space depending on where you slide the back seat. Seat folded forward it's 910 litres in total.
You might be able to make something of that.

You'd probably be wise to contact Kate (well smart), Problemchild or Baggy, they have little 'uns and both have fitted pushchairs/buggies in their forfours.

You can fit quite a bit in the forfour boot, if you're clever and think it through.

Also are getting/have a bog standard baby seat or an ISOFIX one? I only ask because the Brabus is the only one to have ISOFIX as standard, it will make your life a lot harder to find an ISOFIX rear bench.
