FORFOUR 1.5 CDI MANUAL 68 bhp 2006 VALUATION PLEASE ??
« on: March 23, 2015, 10:22:26 AM »

we are selling a MANUAL forfour diesel silver in very good mechanical condition approx. 79,000 miles , 2006
long mot , new rear calipers , new front discs, recent wheel bearings, good tyres etc
cloth interior
centre armrest
all electric windows
4 spoke alloys

only known faults , drivers door sometimes fails to catch when closing but does when you flick the interior handle.
worst part he scraped passenger side against the corner of another car bumper almost length of car, it is only cosmetic and has not caused too much damage as he was going slow at time of impact .
the cigarette lighter socket is faulty.
it is very reliable and has been serviced regular etc, the sort of car you could jump in and drive to the other side of the country and use very little fuel. please can anyone give us an idea on the value?
the car is in Swansea if anyone wants to view. thanks!

To get a good idea of value there are other things to consider...

Is it a manual or an AMT ?
Any 'extra's....such as:-
1/ dash top pod instruments..
2/ centre armrest..
3/ Radio 6 vice Radio 5...or even Comand..
4/ Multifunction steering wheel..
5/ 15" or 16" Smart 4 spoke wheels....
6/ leather interior...

there were so many options that could and often were had.

Oh, and a picture of the 'damage' as well as the whole car would help.
And where roughly in Wales could one go to view it ?

Appears that the 'going rate' for  CDi of that mileage is
in the region of £2300 to £2700. But that is without any panel
damage.
If it is as you say...nearly the entire passenger side, then be aware
that spray jobs are currently around £150-£200 per panel, and
that excludes any filling or other work needed to prep them, so I'm sorry
to say that you may well have to come down a fair bit on the price that
you expect or think it is worth and the offers you may be given for it.

its worth what someone will pay for it and it depends on how much you want to get for it and how quick you want to sell

sounds nice

remappable to very good bhp

unless the damage is on the safety cell the panel could be replaced with a 2nd hand part

door handle - take the handle off and drip some 3 in 1 down the cable (we have a guide)
