Well "Fritz" has new rear rotors and pads, new shocks, new tyres (Kumho KU39) wheel alignment, plugs, air filter, pollen filter, v belt, brake fluid, and Im now skint :( all up $3500.00. Ahh the cost of motoring. :)

Ouch !   That's £1615   
I'm tempering that sore point with the fact that motoring
in Oz is not that cheap...in general that is, right ?

So how much were the parts, and the labour charge  ?
More to the point though, do you think it was a fair price ?

Yep parts are expensive, especially for imported cars & that will be all cars as of next year because GM (Holden) & Ford (Falcon) will stop manufacturing cars in OZ. Parts $2000. ( the shocks came from Kate and where 1/3 the price that MB quoted) Labour $765. Tyres $600 + tax $178.  is it a fair price I think so, I got a good discount from MB   ::)

Not so good value if shipped to the UK where Import Duty and VAT get added....
as I found out to my cost when I ordered some bits !
