Well "Fritz" has new rear rotors and pads, new shocks, new tyres (Kumho KU39) wheel alignment, plugs, air filter, pollen filter, v belt, brake fluid, and Im now skint
all up $3500.00. Ahh the cost of motoring.

Ouch !
That's
£1615
I'm tempering that sore point with the fact that motoring
in Oz is not that cheap...in general that is, right ?
So how much were the parts, and the labour charge ?
More to the point though, do you think it was a fair price ?

Yep parts are expensive, especially for imported cars & that will be all cars as of next year because GM (Holden) & Ford (Falcon) will stop manufacturing cars in OZ. Parts $2000. ( the shocks came from Kate and where 1/3 the price that MB quoted) Labour $765. Tyres $600 + tax $178. is it a fair price I think so, I got a good discount from MB

Not so good value if shipped to the UK where Import Duty and VAT get added....
