Massive thanks to this forum and in particular nzforfour
« on: January 28, 2018, 06:27:45 PM »

After my door latch failed yet again I decided to take the bull by the horns and do a compete strip down, removing the door skin etc. I should add I am not at all mechanically minded but I took my pc out to the garage and followed this link http://www.forfour.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=3741.msg40166. In just over 2 hours I had it stripped, cleaned, greased and put back together again and working 100%. I COULD NOT have done it without this guide. We run an animal charity so every penny counts and I dread to think what a garage would have charged (almost certainly would have fitted a new latch...80 quid on its own!). So a very big thank you, its great to be part of this wee communnity

It's good to know that what we have on the forum in the way of
Guides etc work, and that they are useful, and that they are
appreciated.
It's why we started the forum, and it would not be as good as it
is without the input of it's members and those who have contributed
to it over the years, and those who will add to it in the future.
