We’d love you to join our ‘smart convoy’ to Whitby on Saturday 3 November to celebrate 20 years of smart!

There will be two teams to start with. One team will set off from York, the other will set off from Sheffield. We’ll then meet up and make our way to Whitby where we will treat you to Fish & Chips at the famous Magpie.

Meeting points: Mercedes-Benz and smart of York or Mercedes-Benz and smart of Sheffield. Breakfast will be provided.
Meeting time: 9am
Set off time: 10am
The route: Maps will be provided but the idea is for us all to stick together and have some fun!

went to there one of there Smart meets... it was a very dry atmosphere... and it was invite only.

im surprised i havn't got anything in the post as i took my forfour to there Harrogate branch as it was part of there group about 7 years back.

its just baggy and yourself.

dont think ill be going to any dealer arranged meets as the first and last one i went to was dry and very unsocial bar a few who showed slight interest in my SB3

Well there were 39 cars(mostly Fortwos) turn up in total, a few were the Renault based cars, and mine was the only 454.
Lovely weather so not a bad day out. Got 36 mpg( best I have achieved in the Brabus, whereas I have had 87.5mpg in my Ioniq hybrid around town)  in the convoy on the way there;
but 30 mpg on the way back( got back to Leeds from Whitby considerably quicker than the convoy took from York to Whitby which is 28 miles less).

They issued everyone with a £500 discount voucher on a new Smart from JCT600 but that was all.No talking sales whatsoever

so it was indirectly a sales event.

Well they would have been crazy not to do something, with 39 Smart owners there
