If you read the comments below the article- someone thinks the tridion is aluminium. Nice to know a 42 is able to 'take out' a bimmer and then drive home. Nice to know the trid is there. Safe motoring folks.

Don't you just luv the anal comments of those who REALLY
do not know what they are talking about, and/or never driven any Smart....
Quote:- "they just drive local as your back would be broke"

And...
Quote:-"you would not last in a so called smart car"
So called ?  Ha.  The statsitics state thhat Smarts have less accidents,
so one can only assume that the owners/drivers of them are smarter
than the type of fool who makes those sort of innane comments.  :P

And...
Quote:- "can't go fast enough to cause any damage if they hit another car."
That's laughable...try telling that to Rob of S2 who wrote off a Ferrari 458
when he T-boned it when it rolled backwards across the track in front of him
at Silverstone when the driver of it failed to undertake another car as the
big fat tyres on it were too cold and lacked grip !  Not so smart of him as
surely he should have known that, right ?   Ok...so the Smart Brab 454 did
sustain quite a lot of frontal damage, but at least it was capable of being
repaired, and it was soon back on the racing scene once again in just over
2 weeks (1 weeks worth of actual repair time).
Even my Brab 454 (albeit remapped etc) is faster than a large number of
the cars out on the road today.  Not fast....how wrong.
The consulation of all this is...is that WE know how good and safe our
Smarts are..as the Insurance statistics show...so we MUST drive better
than nigh on everyone else then  8)
