The next Smart car meet at The Ace Café is on Saturday 9th April 2022...

For those wishing to or interested in attending, the venue details (Postcode),
and most importantly...the conditions (re do not bring your own food/drink),
are as per previous threads on this bi-annual meet.

Organising a 'meet up' point for any ForFour owners before rolling in has never
been much of a success at this venue due to limited parking spaces close to the
venue.  I suggest we all aim to arrive 'at the gate' as close to 11am as possible
to try  to enure that we can get a little corner all to ourselves for our ForFours.

I should be free/attending (hmm...that should put a few people off...LOL)

im going to try and make it down. just another cheeky push for parts from my brab. some parts are still available, drop me a message to see if i have the parts you require still available and i could bring them down to ACE.

I don't think this clashes with the fighting robotics schedule so I can be there as well. Not entirely certain in what yet.

  Still, I suppose 5 is better than none...although 1 of the 5 might not be in a 454...

I'm betting there'll be one or 2 non-forum members turn up in their W453's, and maybe
the odd 454.  We'll just have to see.

Forecast for the day (at NW10 7UD) is.. 11->12 degrees between 11.00 and 16.00hrs
Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze, cloudy from 14.00hrs

Just had the all clear from the missus so i'll pop along too, if that's ok with the rest?  I've promised to look after the dog that day, so hopefully they're welcome?

It is a free event to attend, so yeah, should be.

If I do make it to this tomorrow, it'll be in the 450 CDI. The 454 is currently out of commision owing to a failed MOT with a side indicator

EDIT: I've not been able to make it, house move coming up and needed to focus on that. Hope all who went had a good time.

It was really sunny, but a little chilly due to a cold breeze.

Those in 454's that made it were :- myself, mr singh, cecil, and jamriog.
A W453 made it...but they didn't 'associate' with any of us 

Rob and Matt of S2smarts attended, and apart from the obvious questions
they mixed and mingled with everyone at the event. Look to seeing a 'media'
announcement on the S2Smarts situation in a week or so...it'll be good news.

There was one very late arrival of an immaculate black Brabus 454....
not a member of this Forum, but who is a member of the 'Invictus Smart'
group. A garage owner he picked it up for a song but has spent over 2 years
bringing it up to a really high standard.  He did say he would join our Forum
sometime over the weekend, but so far I have to say not just yet, though
there are quite a few hours of Sunday still remaining.  We'll wait and see.....
